Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM (days) or 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (nights), every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care for labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum patients
Monitor and interpret fetal heart strips to ensure patient safety
Administer and titrate medications including pitocin, insulin, and magnesium
Assist with C-sections and other obstetric procedures
Provide couplet care for mother and newborn
Float to MedSurg and ER as needed to support hospital operations

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification required; ACLS, NRP, STABLE preferred
Previous travel experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring strip interpretation
Titratable drip management (pitocin, insulin, magnesium)
Obstetric and neonatal care
Meditech EMR
Adaptability to a fast-paced environment
