Location: Tacoma, WA

Start Date: 06-13-2026

End Date: 09-12-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with occasional weekends, holidays, and limited call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform nuclear medicine procedures including stress tests, bone scans, thyroid studies, and GI studies
Operate GE and Phillips imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Start IVs and administer radiopharmaceuticals as needed
Utilize EPIC and McKesson PACS for image management and documentation
Collaborate with radiologists and ARNPs to ensure accurate imaging and patient care
Maintain a safe and clean work environment following radiation safety protocols

Qualifications

Current BLS certification
Washington State Radiologic Technologist license
ARRT-N or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology
At least 2 years of recent nuclear medicine experience
Proficiency in starting IVs
Experience with EPIC and PACS systems

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of nuclear medicine procedures and radiation safety
Ability to operate GE and Phillips gamma cameras
Proficient in using EPIC and McKesson PACS
Excellent patient communication and care skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to handle varying shift schedules and on-call duties
