Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to neuro telemetry patients, including those with CVA, TBI, spinal surgery, and encephalopathy
Titrate critical drips like Heparin, Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Insulin
Interpret EKG rhythms and respond to central monitoring alerts
Perform Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes with strict sterile technique
Collaborate with a fast-paced team to manage a high-turnover unit
Deliver bedside report and ensure seamless shift transitions

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Neuro experience highly preferred
Level 1 trauma experience a must
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam
Comfort with Cerner EMR and WOWs

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac and neuro assessment skills
Proficient in IV therapy and drip titration
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to maintain sterile field during procedures
Experience with tele monitoring and EKG interpretation
