Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging procedures using Siemens Biograph Vision and E.CAM equipment
Ensure patient safety and comfort during scans, explaining procedures and answering questions
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patients for adverse reactions
Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize diagnostic outcomes
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and facility policies, including fingernail restrictions

Qualifications

Valid BLS certification required
Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) certification required
PET/CT experience required - but we can train on specific Siemens equipment if needed
DOT certification preferred at start and required by extension (within 90 days)
Valid driver's license required to verify distance from facility
Must reside 50+ miles from the facility and not be employed by CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in nuclear medicine imaging techniques and radiation safety
Experience with PET/CT scanners; familiarity with Siemens Biograph Vision and E.CAM is a plus
Strong patient care and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with excellent documentation abilities
