Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), including every 3rd weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population in MedSurg and Emergency Department settings
Admit, discharge, and transfer patients efficiently while ensuring smooth care transitions
Titrate medications including insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, and levopress with confidence
Start IVs, manage PICC lines and ports, and respond to codes (cardiorespiratory, stroke, sepsis)
Perform and interpret EKGs independently using Mindray monitors
Float seamlessly between MedSurg and ER to support team needs
Collaborate with hospitalists and transport teams to coordinate higher-level care when needed

Qualifications

Active and unencumbered RN license in Minnesota (compact license accepted)
Must have ER experience to be considered
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
Ability to work independently with minimal staffing resources
Comfortable communicating directly with hospitalists and coordinating emergency transfers

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in medication titration and IV start
Skilled in PICC/port management and code response
Experience with telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
Knowledge of EMTALA regulations and flight transport procedures
Adaptable to a fast-paced, multi-specialty environment
