Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and primary nursing principles.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop tailored care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Provide patient and family education and support.
Document care accurately in Meditech and maintain patient records.

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alaska
Minimum of 3 years of Med-Surg experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Critical thinking and strong clinical assessment skills
Proficiency with Meditech, OBIX, and Pyxis systems

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of medical-surgical nursing
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in electronic health records (Meditech)
Competency in using Pyxis supply stations and OBIX
