Location: Redding, California

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with every 3rd weekend required

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' functional abilities and develop personalized treatment plans
Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve independence in daily living activities
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to coordinate holistic patient care
Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and home exercise programs
Document patient progress and adjust treatment goals as needed
Participate in discharge planning to ensure safe transitions

Qualifications

Current California Occupational Therapist license
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist
At least 1 year of acute care hospital experience
Open to first-time travelers
Strong clinical skills in rehabilitation settings

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Cerner EMR system
Expertise in occupational therapy assessment and intervention techniques
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt to fast-paced acute care environment
