End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, rotating day/night as needed, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed MedSurg/Telemetry unit, managing patients with total joint replacements, spinal surgeries, urology procedures, abdominal surgeries, bariatrics, and medical overflow
Monitor telemetry packs, titrate drips such as heparin and PCA pumps, and administer TPN as needed
Serve as charge nurse, occasionally taking a low acuity assignment, and collaborate with interdisciplinary team
Perform bedside shift reports and ensure quality patient outcomes
Float to medical and telemetry units to assist with strip interpretation and patient care

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required
Prefer surgical experience, post-op care, and early ambulation skills
Open to first-time travelers
Active RN license (compact or ability to obtain)

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Post-operative nursing care
Charge nurse experience
Ability to manage diverse patient populations
