Location: Garrison, North Dakota

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, including every other weekend and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, resident-centered care in a 26-bed long-term care facility
Serve as charge nurse, coordinating care and overseeing the nursing team
Administer medications and perform wound care treatments
Manage residents with chronic conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and dementia
Collaborate with a supportive interdisciplinary team including PT and social worker

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of Long Term Care experience - a must!
Comfortable with medication administration, wound care, and acting as charge nurse
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of long-term care nursing practices and regulations
Proficiency with Matrix EMR
Strong wound care and medication management skills
Ability to lead a nursing team and make clinical decisions
Excellent communication and compassionate bedside manner
