Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, holistic care to oncology and trauma patients across the continuum from diagnosis to remission
Monitor and titrate drips including insulin and cardizem while ensuring patient safety
Collaborate with PT/OT, case managers, social workers, and dietitians to deliver comprehensive care
Float to same-level med/surg and PCU units to support team needs and expand your skillset
Perform hourly rounding and focus on exceptional patient experience
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medications with precision and care

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 1 year of PCU or oncology experience
BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
EPIC experience within the last 6 months preferred
Valid driver's license required at time of submission

Knowledge & Skills

Comfort with ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and Alaris pumps
Ability to titrate drips including insulin and cardizem
Strong teamwork and genuine compassion for diverse patient populations
Willingness to float within the same level of care
Open-book exam readiness during orientation with 90% passing requirement
