Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care across multiple MS-Tele units including Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation
Float within a 60-mile zone to support facilities like Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital, St. Catherine Dodge City, and St. Catherine Garden City
Monitor and titrate Heparin drips while caring for adult and geriatric patients with diverse diagnoses
Collaborate with designated charge nurses and nursing assistants to maintain safe 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratios
Respond to low-census call needs and adapt quickly to varying unit assignments

Qualifications

Active RN license and 2 years of MS-Tele experience within the last 3 years
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Neuro experience preferred along with familiarity using Alaris pumps and EPIC charting
Willingness to float throughout Zone 4 and maintain flexibility with scheduling

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills for cardiac, neuro, and post-surgical patients
Comfort working with vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and telemetry monitoring
Ability to read cardiac strips and respond to changing patient acuity levels
Excellent communication and adaptability for floating across multiple specialties
