Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
Monitor ventilators and perform hemodynamic monitoring with real-time training support
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and dietitians
Float to same-level PCU and MedSurg units while maintaining excellent patient outcomes
Deliver hourly rounding and patient-centered care across diverse cultural backgrounds

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 1 year of PCU or oncology experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC chemotherapy certification required
Open to first-time travelers who meet experience requirements
Valid driver's license required at time of submission

Knowledge & Skills

Strong teamwork and genuine compassion for patients from all walks of life
Comfort with EPIC charting and Alaris IV pumps
Willingness to learn advanced monitoring skills like CVP, A-line, and ICP in real time
Ability to maintain a positive attitude and support colleagues during challenging moments
