Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma patients across PCU and Med/Surg units
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication drips including heparin and cardizem
Monitor ventilators and perform real-time hemodynamic assessments to ensure patient stability
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PT/OT, case managers, and educators to optimize patient outcomes
Float within similar levels of care to support unit needs while maintaining excellent patient experiences
Champion hourly rounding and patient-centered practices that make a real difference

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
EPIC charting experience within the last 6 months preferred
First-time travelers welcome with strong clinical skills

Knowledge & Skills

Chemotherapy administration and oncology nursing expertise
Ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
Alaris IV pump proficiency
Strong assessment and critical thinking abilities
Team collaboration and genuine patient advocacy
