Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Full-time NOC shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, including weekends and one holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert respiratory care to mostly adult patients with occasional pediatric cases in the emergency department
Manage ventilators and deliver life-supporting treatments including BiPAP and nebulizer therapies
Support conscious sedation and cardioversion procedures as a standby specialist
Draw arterial blood gases to monitor patient status and guide treatment decisions
Assist with intubations and deliver high-quality care in a Level 2 nursery setting using bubble CPAP for neonates 32 weeks and up
Collaborate with a lead therapist on every shift and a 24/7 hospitalist/intensivist team

Qualifications

Active Washington RT License required
RRT or CRT credential accepted
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Proven ventilator management experience
Strong Level 2 nursery experience with bubble CPAP competency
NICU experience is a must

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management with PB 980, Philips V60, and Respironics Lumis equipment
Bubble CPAP and BiPAP setup
Arterial blood gas draws
Neonatal care for 32-weeks-and-up infants
Conscious sedation and cardioversion standby support
