Location: Grand Island, Nebraska

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with 1 night per week on call and every 5th or 6th weekend on call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert circulating support across all surgical service lines including neurosurgery, orthopedics, ENT, GYN, and robotics
Collaborate closely with surgeons and the OR team to ensure seamless procedures from start to finish
Float to pre/post-op, PACU, or ER trauma when needed, showcasing your versatility
Educate and mentor fellow staff while maintaining the highest safety standards
Adapt quickly to a dynamic daily schedule and varied case mix

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certification required
Strong experience in multiple surgical specialties including neurosurgery
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment without specialized teams
Must live outside a 50-mile radius of Grand Island and not be employed by CommonSpirit facilities
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
Familiarity with Da Vinci robotic systems
Ability to circulate all service lines: neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedics, GYN, general surgery
Strong assessment skills for pre/post-op and PACU care
Experience handling ER trauma cases when floated
