Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to neuro post-surgical and stroke patients
Monitor and interpret EKGs with centralized telemetry support
Collaborate with charge nurses and clinical supervisors to deliver excellent outcomes
Maintain sterile field techniques and support safe patient environments
Educate patients and families on recovery plans after neurosurgery or stroke intervention

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent neuro/telemetry experience within the past 6 months
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer
Strong sterile technique knowledge for day-one orientation exam

Knowledge & Skills

Neuro post-op and stroke care expertise
EKG interpretation and centralized telemetry monitoring
Sterile field and infection prevention practices
Patient education and family communication
Collaborative care with hospitalists and interdisciplinary teams
