Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver life-saving respiratory care to adults, pediatrics, and neonates across the facility
Perform ABGs and EKGs to support accurate patient assessment and treatment planning
Assist with intubations and manage ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen systems
Collaborate with hospitalists and intensivists to optimize patient outcomes
Provide compassionate care in a supportive, one-RT-per-shift environment

Qualifications

Active RRT or CRT credential
Current Kansas Respiratory Therapist license
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
At least 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
Comfortable working with adults, pediatrics, and neonates

Knowledge & Skills

Respiratory Therapy expertise including ABG and EKG procedures
Ventilator management with Hamilton and Vapotherm equipment
Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
Ability to work independently as the sole RT on shift
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
