End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and trauma PCU patients
Monitor and titrate drips including insulin and cardizem as needed
Administer chemotherapy and manage complex medication regimens
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and dietitians
Float to same-level PCU and MedSurg units to support patient care across the facility
Perform hourly rounding to enhance patient experience and safety
Manage ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring equipment with real-time training available

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC certification preferred
Chemotherapy certification preferred
Minimum 1 year of PCU or oncology nursing experience
First-time travelers welcome
EPIC experience within the last 6 months preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Ability to care for culturally diverse patient populations
Comfort with oncology, trauma, and mixed PCU/MedSurg patient types
Willingness to float within similar levels of care
Positive attitude and genuine compassion for patients
