Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple PCU/IMC specialties
Manage and titrate cardiac drips, insulin, Ativan, and Heparin with confidence and precision
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support diverse patient populations including cardiac, neuro, oncology, renal, and trauma cases
Collaborate with designated charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to varying unit needs while maintaining excellent clinical standards and patient safety

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/IMC experience
Comfortable with cardiac drip titration and managing insulin, Ativan, and Heparin
Prior neuro or Epic experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for complex PCU/IMC patients
Proficiency with cardiac drips, titration protocols, and medication management
Ability to float across multiple specialties and adapt to different unit workflows
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and fill scheduling gaps as needed
