Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Bakersfield, California
Start Date: 06-06-2026
End Date: 09-05-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts with rotating weekday call after 4:30 PM, rotating weekend call, and rotating holiday on-call
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac, SPECT, bone scan, bleed studies, and gastric emptying procedures
- Deliver high-quality nuclear medicine imaging using advanced GE equipment
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnostics
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during all imaging studies
- Document procedures accurately using Radnet and Merge Unity systems
- Float to Mercy Downtown location when needed to support patient care
Qualifications
- Active CA NMTL license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Knowledge & Skills
- Cardiac imaging expertise
- SPECT and bone scan proficiency
- Bleed studies and gastric emptying experience
- GE equipment operation
- Radnet and Merge Unity systems
- Strong attention to detail and patient care focus
