Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult patients with cardiac, vascular, and respiratory conditions
Monitor and titrate cardiac drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
Manage arterial lines and interpret cardiac monitoring strips
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed while maintaining PCU-level care standards
Support patient experience initiatives through excellent communication and responsiveness

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Competency in arterial line management and cardiac drip titration
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
Willingness to float between units and adapt to changing patient needs

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Drip titration and medication management
Patient assessment and care planning
Team collaboration and communication
Cultural sensitivity with diverse patient populations
