Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate emergency care to patients in critical situations
- Assess, triage, and stabilize patients quickly and effectively
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to deliver timely treatment
- Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition
- Educate patients and families on next steps and care plans
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California
- BLS and ACLS certifications preferred
- Previous ER or acute care experience a plus
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Emergency nursing protocols
- Triage and rapid assessment
- IV insertion and medication administration
- Electronic health record documentation
- Calm decision-making under pressure
