Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM start with variable end times, plus rotating call coverage including weekends and holidays
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $98 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist surgeons as the first assistant during complex orthopedic, robotic, neuro, and GYN procedures
- Provide expert support during total joints, robotic hysterectomies, brain tumor cases, and vascular surgeries
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes across diverse specialties
- Float between campuses as needed to support operational excellence
- Maintain readiness for call coverage including weekends and holidays
Qualifications
- Active RN license with RNFA certification required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong experience in ortho, robotics, neuro, and GYN specialties
- Robotics experience is essential for this role
- Ability to scrub and assist in the operating room setting
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records
- Experience across multiple surgical specialties including ortho, robotics, neuro, GYN, urology, and vascular
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Adaptability to handle varying case volumes and call schedules
