Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with call requirements of approximately 120 hours per contract

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional perioperative care across a variety of surgical specialties including General, ENT, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics procedures
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient patient outcomes in a fast-paced 16-suite OR
Respond to trauma and neuro cases with confidence and clinical expertise
Serve as a resource and mentor when charge nurse duties arise
Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR to support continuity of care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS certification required
Minimum one year of OR nursing experience with proven trauma and neuro case exposure
Charge nurse experience preferred but not required
Epic EMR experience strongly valued

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical safety protocols
Ability to anticipate surgeon needs across multiple specialties
Excellent communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings
Comfortable with 30-minute call response time
Adaptable to floating within Zone 1 facilities when needed
