Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document patient status and communicate changes to the care team
• Support safe patient transfers, mobility assistance, and infection control practices
• Collaborate with nurses and other staff to deliver timely, coordinated care
• Maintain accurate, professional documentation and follow facility policies

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification; California CNA certification preferred
• Active basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
• Comfortable working overnight/night shift environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Previous long-term care, acute care, or hospital experience is a plus

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient hygiene, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Basic vital sign measurement and documentation
• Infection prevention and standard precautions
• Professional bedside manner and patient advocacy
• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
