Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with 1 night per week on call and every 5th or 6th weekend on call

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert circulating and patient care across all surgical service lines including neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedics, GYN, and general surgery
• Support Da Vinci robotic procedures and trauma cases in the ER when needed
• Collaborate closely with charge nurses and surgical techs to ensure seamless operations
• Float to Pre/Post op and PACU when trained to maximize patient support
• Educate and mentor colleagues while maintaining the highest safety standards
• Adapt quickly to varied daily surgical schedules with flexibility and teamwork

Qualifications

• Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong experience in multiple surgical specialties including neurosurgery
• Comfortable working across all service lines without specialized teams
• Must pass open-book skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation
• Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
• No current full-time, part-time, or PRN employment with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
• Experience in neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedics, GYN, general surgery, and Da Vinci robotics
• Ability to handle pre/post op, PACU, and ER trauma cases
• Strong teamwork and willingness to educate others
• Flexibility to adapt to changing surgical schedules daily
