Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients thoroughly and prioritize care based on changing clinical needs
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor telemetry and other patient data, responding quickly to changes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and update care plans
• Document patient care clearly and timely in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families with compassion and clarity to support recovery
• Advocate for patient safety and continuous quality improvement

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where you will practice (California)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Experience in med-surg/telemetry (MST) preferred; comfort with telemetry monitoring
• Current ACLS or other advanced certifications encouraged when applicable
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to prioritize in overnight environment
• Professional communication skills and ability to work effectively on per-diem teams

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN/ADN or BSN). BSN preferred.
