Location: Baudette, Minnesota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every 3rd weekend and 3rd holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across both MedSurg and ER units, adapting quickly to patient needs
Admit, discharge, and transfer patients while maintaining excellent continuity of care
Titrate critical medications and manage complex drips including insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, and levophed
Start IVs, manage PICC lines and ports, and respond swiftly to codes and trauma situations
Interpret telemetry strips, perform EKGs, and document findings accurately using Meditech EMR
Collaborate with minimal staffing while communicating directly with hospitalists to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Minnesota or compact license
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
Minimum 1 year of ER experience required
MedSurg experience preferred
Comfortable working independently with minimal staffing support

Knowledge & Skills

Titrate medications and manage critical drips
Start IVs and work with PICC/Ports
Respond to codes including cardiorespiratory, stroke, and sepsis
Handle trauma response situations
Interpret telemetry strips and complete EKGs
Navigate Meditech EMR confidently
Follow EMTALA regulations and coordinate flight transport when needed
