Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, helping with activities of daily living
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding in a respectful manner
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff promptly
Support mobility and safe transfers, using proper body mechanics
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents and team members to ensure coordinated care
Document care accurately and follow facility policies and procedures

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (state required) and active in good standing
CPR/BLS certification preferred or required by facility
Comfortable providing hands-on personal care and assisting with mobility
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow care plans and facility procedures

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and infection control practices
Familiarity with charting and documentation best practices
Understanding of resident rights and dignity in care
Basic medical terminology and vital sign monitoring
Safe transfer and lifting techniques
