Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes promptly to nursing staff
Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and range-of-motion activities
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
Help create a comfortable, dignified environment for residents
Work collaboratively with the care team to support individualized care plans

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (as required by state of Pennsylvania)
Demonstrated ability to provide safe, patient-centered care
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or newly obtained
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Background check and immunization requirements per facility policy

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant training program

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on experience with resident care and ADLs
Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
Ability to document care accurately and communicate effectively
Comfortable assisting with mobility, transfers, and basic wound care support
Compassionate approach to working with older adults and long-term care populations
