Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and feeding
Monitor resident status and report changes to nursing staff promptly
Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper lifting techniques
Maintain clean, safe resident environments and adhere to infection control practices
Build trusting relationships with residents and families through clear communication

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Valid CNA certification in Pennsylvania or eligible for state reciprocity
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively on a care team

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed and current CNA training/certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, documentation
Familiarity with long-term care or skilled nursing routines is a plus
Good time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
Comfortable with charting and following care plans
Team-oriented mindset and conflict-resolution skills
