Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs and observe changes in resident condition
Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and positioning to promote mobility
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care delivered
Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, and family members about resident needs
Keep resident rooms and care areas clean, safe, and comfortable
Follow infection control practices and facility policies to protect residents and staff

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required) — must meet Pennsylvania state requirements
Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or similar setting is a plus
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of resident care fundamentals and ADLs
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Basic infection control and safety practices
Comfortable working as part of an interdisciplinary care team
Good time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
Respectful, professional communication with residents and families
