Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and support daily living activities
Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility with dignity
Take and document vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Support safe patient transfers and positioning to prevent injury
Maintain accurate, timely documentation and follow care plans
Adhere to infection control practices and safety protocols consistently
Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the care team
Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment that improves patient experience

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (required) — must be eligible to work in Pennsylvania
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained upon hire
Comfortable assisting with ADLs and patient transfers
Able to pass background check and any required health screenings
Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented mindset

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong foundational patient care skills and knowledge of ADLs
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Familiarity with basic infection control and safety procedures
Clear communication and teamwork skills
Basic charting/documentation skills and attention to detail
Good time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
