Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding) to support resident dignity
Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
Assist with safe transfers, positioning and mobility to promote comfort and prevent injury
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Document care accurately and communicate observations to nurses and families
Support interdisciplinary team goals and participate in shift handoffs and huddles
Deliver person-centered care that fosters trust and well-being

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Ability to pass background check, drug screen and required health screenings
Compassionate attitude, strong communication skills, and reliability

Education

High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Taking and accurately recording vital signs
Infection prevention and safe handling techniques
Safe resident transfer and positioning
Clear documentation and basic charting practices
Effective teamwork and communication with clinical staff and families
Time management and organization during busy shifts
