Roles & Responsibilities

Provide respectful, compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Take and document vital signs and observe/report patient changes accurately
Support safe patient transfers, mobility, and fall prevention protocols
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control standards
Communicate clearly and collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary team members
Assist with feeding, bathing, dressing and other personal care while preserving patient dignity
Accurately complete required documentation and hand-offs to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential—Georgia certification preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Comfortable performing hands-on patient care and lifting/transferring patients as needed
Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Previous experience in long (12+ hour) shifts or acute care settings is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED required; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Patient-centered care and basic clinical assessment (vitals, ADLs)
Safe transfer and mobility techniques
Basic charting and documentation best practices
Infection control and standard precautions
Time management in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Clear, professional communication with patients and care teams
