Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care that helps patients feel safe and respected
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) — bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs and patient status accurately and promptly
Communicate patient needs and changes to the nursing team to ensure coordinated care
Support safe patient transfers and use proper body mechanics to prevent injury
Document care in the medical record with attention to detail and timeliness

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (or equivalent) — ready to care from day one
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working 12.5-hour shifts and standing for extended periods
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Background check and any facility-required screenings/health checks completed

Education

CNA certification required; high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and infection control practices
Vitals measurement and basic clinical observation
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Accurate charting and basic electronic health record familiarity
Effective verbal and written communication with patients and team members
