Roles & Responsibilities

• Circulate and assist during cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring patient safety and smooth workflow
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation per unit policy while maintaining close patient assessment
• Prepare and maintain cath lab equipment and imaging systems, including Philips and Siemens platforms
• Document procedures accurately in the Merge system and support clear interdisciplinary communication
• Support advanced procedures such as LHC, RHC, TAVR, TEER, EP, ECMO, Impella, ICD/PPM, peripheral interventions and endovascular AAA
• Collaborate with physicians, techs and staff to maintain a high quality patient experience

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience circulating in a cardiac cath lab and competence with moderate sedation
• Minimum 1 year of relevant cath lab or radiology tech experience as listed
• Comfortable working with Merge documentation system and multiple imaging platforms
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and participate in on-call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of cardiac cath lab procedures and sterile technique
• Familiarity with Philips and Siemens imaging equipment
• Proficient documentation skills in Merge or similar systems
• Ability to monitor and manage patients under moderate sedation
• Team communication, situational awareness and crisis response skills
