Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care to ICU patients, maintaining a patient ratio typically around 2:1
• Manage advanced airway interventions including intubation and ventilator care
• Perform central line and arterial line management and related procedures
• Care for neurosurgical/EVD patients and collaborate with core staff for specialty cases
• Document patient care accurately and promptly in Meditech
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain ACLS readiness and respond effectively to clinical emergencies
• Support unit staffing needs, including floating to BMT and PCU when required

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state of practice)
• ACLS certification (required)
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience (per job posting)
• Comfortable with intubation/airway management, central and arterial line care
• Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred
• Preferred experience in oncology, neuro, BMT, or PCU settings

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care nursing best practices and ICU protocols
• Intubation and advanced airway management
• Central line and arterial line (A-line) management
• EVD care and neurosurgical patient needs
• Meditech electronic medical record proficiency
• Ability to function well in high-acuity, team-oriented environments
