Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures including PVI, PPM, EPS, LHC, PCI, IR, and neuro cases
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment such as Philips and Siemens systems
• Document procedures and patient care accurately using Meditech and MacLab
• Prepare and verify sterile instruments, supplies, and the panning x-ray table prior to cases
• Monitor patient status throughout procedures and provide immediate interventions as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the cath lab team to ensure safe, efficient patient flow
• Mentor and educate less-experienced staff and help build a strong, learning-focused team

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• RCIS certification required (panning x-ray table experience noted)
• BLS and ACLS current
• Interventional cath lab experience required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in cardiac cath or interventional lab
• Preferred experience in EP and neuro procedures (nice to have)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven skill with cath lab procedures and interventional techniques
• Familiarity with Philips and Siemens imaging systems
• Experience with EMR systems: Meditech and MacLab
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced procedural settings
• Strong patient monitoring and critical thinking skills
• Comfort functioning in on-call rotations and occasional weekend coverage
