Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound studies including ABI, carotid, renal, aortic/abdominal, venous and arterial exams
• Conduct Lower Extremity Reflux studies and related vascular assessments
• Operate and maintain GE ultrasound systems to ensure optimal imaging
• Accurately document findings in MediTech Expanse and communicate results to the care team
• Manage complex study schedules independently and provide excellent patient care and education
• Respond to every other weekend on-call requests between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM as required
• Maintain required certifications and follow unit guidelines to ensure patient safety

Qualifications

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) — required
• BLS certification — required
• Must be registered in the state of New Hampshire
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience (as listed in posting)
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) — preferred
• Familiarity with GE ultrasound systems and MediTech Expanse EMR preferred
• Self-starter able to work independently and manage complex studies

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in vascular ultrasound techniques and protocols
• Proficiency in ABI, carotid, renal, aortic/abdominal, venous and arterial studies
• Experience with Lower Extremity Reflux studies
• Comfort using GE ultrasound equipment
• Ability to document accurately in MediTech Expanse
• Strong patient communication and time-management skills
• Willingness to train on pTCO2 as needed
