Location: Lakewood, Colorado

Start Date: 08-03-2026

End Date: 11-02-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), Monday-Wednesday or Tuesday-Thursday with call rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields and equipment in the operating room
Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
Anticipate needs of the surgical team to ensure smooth workflow
Handle and care for surgical specimens and ensure proper documentation
Collaborate with nursing and anesthesia staff for optimal patient outcomes
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA required
BLS certification from AHA required
Colorado DORA certification required
Minimum 2 years of experience in an operating room setting
Experience with robotic surgery and trauma cases preferred
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and participate in call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in robotic surgical systems and setup
Knowledge of trauma procedures and Level 1 trauma center operations
Strong sterile technique and aseptic practices
Familiarity with EPIC charting system
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently
