Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, self-scheduling

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including oncology and trauma PCU patients
Manage and titrate drips such as insulin and cardizem with precision
Monitor hemodynamic status using advanced equipment like ventilators, CVP, and arterial lines
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social workers
Float to med/surg and PCU units as needed to support team efforts
Participate in hourly rounding to enhance patient experience and safety

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in PCU, med/surg, or oncology
Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA required)
Chemotherapy certification preferred, but not required
Comfortable with EPIC charting and Alaris IV pumps

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EPIC electronic medical records
Skilled in ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan, EV-1000)
Knowledge of oncology patient care and chemotherapy administration
Ability to work in a fast-paced, mixed acuity environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
