Roles & Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved techniques, policies, and state regulations
• Document patient care according to standards to ensure accuracy and continuity
• Develop and execute individualized patient care plans in partnership with physicians and hospital policy
• Provide patient and family education to empower them in their care journey
• Participate in performance improvement activities and shared governance to enhance unit outcomes
• Apply clinical expertise to support other units and departments in longitudinal patient care
• Use critical thinking to ensure patient safety and a positive patient experience, escalating concerns as needed

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin RN license (must be active prior to start)
• AHA Provider-level BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Education verification completed before start
• Previous acute dialysis nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
