Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional care to MedSurg patients, including oncology overflow
Monitor patient conditions and administer medications and treatments
Manage post-operative recovery patients
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes
Float to other units as needed to support patient care

Qualifications

At least 1 year of MedSurg experience - first-time travelers welcome!
Valid BLS certification required
Valid driver's license (used for distance verification)
Ability to pass an open-book orientation exam with 90%
Willingness to float within scope of practice

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in EPIC charting
Experience with nasal cannula oxygen therapy
Ability to manage 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratios
Comfort with oncology patient populations
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
