Shift Type: Variable night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week (typically 3 shifts per week; schedule may vary to cover PTO, FMLA, and shift holes)

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage mechanical ventilation, BiPAP, CPAP, and bubble CPAP for neonates
Perform breathing treatments and administer respiratory therapies
Draw and analyze arterial blood gases (ABGs)
Perform EKGs and assist with intubations
Cover multiple units including ER, Med-Surg, CCU, and Family Birth Center
Conduct daily shift checks and document procedures for billing

Qualifications

Active Oregon Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT)
Certified in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
Proficiency in ventilator management, BiPAP, CPAP, and bubble CPAP
Ability to work independently in a critical access hospital setting

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management including Draeger and V60
Bubble CPAP and high flow therapy (Vapotherm)
Arterial blood gas collection and interpretation
EKG interpretation
MEDITECH charting system
Strong prioritization and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
