Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a telemetry/cardiac unit
Monitor and interpret cardiac strips, titrate drips including Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, and more
Manage PCU-level overflow patients with a 1:3 ratio
Collaborate with charge nurse and patient care techs to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to assist in PCU, MS, or ER holds as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Tele/PCU experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Must have PCU experience and ability to read cardiac strips
Epic charting experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac care, telemetry, and strip interpretation
Proficient in titrating cardiac drips
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced stepdown unit
