Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 6-9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care to patients in various ICUs (MICU, SICU, TICU, CVICU)
Titrate and manage critical drips including pressors, sedatives, and antiarrhythmics
Float across multiple facilities within the designated zone
Interpret telemetry strips and respond to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with charge nurses and respiratory therapists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to Just-In-Time (JIT) assignments as needed

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
First-time travelers need at least 3 years ICU experience and Epic proficiency
Current, unrestricted RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required
Comfortable with floating to PCU/Stepdown and MS-Tele levels of care

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in caring for high-acuity patients on CRRT, IABP, Impella, etc.
Proficiency in Epic charting system
Strong titration skills for a wide range of critical drips
Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team
Excellent communication and adaptability in a float pool environment
