Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, rotating holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care for a diverse patient population from neonates to geriatrics across all inpatient areas
Perform EKGs, bedside bronchoscopy, and bedside spirometry
Manage ventilators (Drager, Servo I, Carefusion) and non-invasive ventilation (Vision, V60, V30, Respironics S/T)
Administer high-flow oxygen therapy (Airvo2)
Collaborate with intensivists, nursing, and lead therapists in a team-oriented environment
Adapt quickly to changing patient conditions and demonstrate time management and communication skills

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent Level 1 or Level 2 experience required
BLS, ACLS, and RRT or CRT required (NRP and PALS preferred)
Valid driver's license required for radius verification
Must live outside 50 miles from facility and not be employed by CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity
No artificial nails in patient care areas

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EKG interpretation, bedside bronchoscopy, and spirometry
Experienced with ventilator management (Drager, Servo I, Carefusion) and bipap/cpap (Vision, V60, V30, Respironics S/T)
Skilled in high-flow oxygen therapy (Airvo2)
Strong time management, flexibility, adaptability, communication, and teamwork abilities
