Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Titrate cardiac drips including Amio, Cardene, Nitro, Heparin, and Dobutamine
Interpret EKGs and manage centralized telemetry monitoring
Float across Telemetry, MedSurg, ICU, Cardiac Tele, and holding areas at Chandler Regional and Mercy Gilbert campuses
Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with diverse diagnoses including post-cath, neuro, surgical, and oncology cases
Collaborate with charge nurses, clinical supervisors, and interdisciplinary teams
Participate in orientation, sim lab, and pass dysrhythmia exam

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry or Float Pool experience
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer (2 attempts max)
Successful completion of simulation lab on day one of orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in cardiac drip titration and EKG interpretation
Experience with Cerner charting system
Comfortable floating between units and campuses
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt to fast-paced, varied patient assignments
