Shift Type: Variable day shifts: 8- or 10-hour shifts, with call requirements including some nights and weekends (1 week night per week, 2 weekend call shifts per month, 30-minute response time)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $88 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgery
Assist surgeons and surgical team during procedures
Ensure sterile field and safety protocols
Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes
Collaborate with charge nurse and OR team
Document care in Cerner EMR

Qualifications

Active RN license in California
Minimum 2 years of OR experience
ACLS and BLS certifications
CST certification preferred
Cerner experience preferred
COVID-19 vaccine required

Education

Associate's degree in Nursing or higher

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of surgical asepsis and sterile technique
Ability to scrub and circulate preferred
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Experience with laparoscopic, bariatric, ortho, neuro, urology, GYN, ENT cases
